Solar physicists have been waiting for the appearance of
a reversed-polarity
sunspot to signal the start of the next solar cycle. The wait is over. A magnetically reversed,
high-latitude sunspot emerged today. This marks the beginning of Solar Cycle 24 and the first step
toward a new solar maximum. More information here... www.solarcycle24.com

Nice web site. One question. How do you find the time??? I am just taking an interest in 6m. Where do I find a cheap receiver for ssb? I have a multi band receiver but will not give me ssb when on 50mhz. I can use 50mhz in FM or AM only. During a recent Sporadic E lift I heard a beacon on 50.065mzh that was not GB but since it was not on ssb I could not work out where it came from. Arthur

Great site! But, Kev, you need to remove at least ALL Estonian broadcasting stations from OIRT band! Beleive me - they are not there. Otherwise we can not work on 4 meter. 73! Gena
