Solar physicists have been waiting for the appearance of a reversed-polarity sunspot to signal the start of the next solar cycle. The wait is over. Apart from JT6M mode I also like to use SSTV and RTTY on 6M whenever possible.
My first non-UK SSTV QSO was with SP2BDR on 06/05/2004 - see pictures below. I was fortunate to have a SSTV qso with Gyuri - HA7EG on 27/08/2005 during the month HA activity on 6M.
Gyuri's equipment : IC756 - J-Pole 5W - Timewave ANC-4 with MMSSTV software. The SSTV mode was Robot 36.
My station for this period was : IC756Pro - 5 element yagi - abt 70 watts output - running MMSSTV software.
